RFPTN NATIONAL DELEGATES AT THE OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR, EDUCATION & TRAINING, PHARMACY COUNCIL OF NIGERIA

The visit of the RFPTN National delegates led by Comr. Shagba Humphrey T. was necessitated following the resolutions of the National Executive Committee (NEC) members pursuant of measures to seek lasting solutions to the challenges facing Pharmacy Technicians in Nigeria with regards to Direct Entry as as observed by JAMB’s delisting of Pharmacy Technicians qualification as a criteria for admission in the just concluded admission of year 2023 among other matters relating to training and practice.

The RFPTN President Comr. Shagba Humphrey T. proceeded on this visit after attending the PCN’s 5-YEAR STRATEGIC PLANNING Meeting held at Bolton White Hotel, Abuja, to further appreciate the Registrar and other top functionaries of the PCN inclusive of the Director of Education and Training for the enormous steps the council has taken and to have exclusively included plans for optimizing the welfare of Pharmacy Technicians in Nigeria.

Welcoming the RFPTN president during the close door meeting, the Director of Education and Training, Dr. Idoko Anthony gave the assurance that the council won’t relent until a permanent solution is attained. He added that the forthcoming PCN’s Governing Council will welcome full participation of the representatives of the Pharmacy Technicians for their inputs at the TRAINING SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING.
